Dr. Birthi earned his medical degree from Bangalore Medical College in India. He completed his internship and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and his fellowship in Pain medicine at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
Dr. Birthi was chief resident during Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency. Dr. Birthi is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain medicine. Dr. Birthi is a member of many professional societies and associations.
Dr. Birthi previously served in the Indian Army as medical provider for 6 years and held rank of Major. Dr. Birthi has been in practice in Grand Island, Nebraska since completion of his pain management fellowship.
Dr. Sri Kanuri was born and raised in India before pursuing advanced medical training in the
United States. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency in Michigan, where he cared
for patients during some of the most critical moments of their lives. His passion for helping
people with chronic pain led him to complete a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at the
University of Iowa.
Dr. Kanuri believes that chronic pain should never be accepted as simply "a part of life." His
philosophy is simple: the earlier pain is addressed, the better the opportunity to restore function,
improve quality of life, and help patients return to the activities they enjoy.
He is committed to treating every patient with honesty, compassion, and respect. Dr. Kanuri
believes that trust is earned by listening carefully, communicating openly, and taking the time to
understand each patient's unique goals and concerns. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all
approach, he works closely with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan that
aligns with their lifestyle and expectations.
Above all, Dr. Kanuri's goal is not just to reduce pain—it is to help patients regain their
independence and spend more meaningful time with the people who matter most. He believes
that life's greatest moments are shared with family and friends, and every patient deserves the
opportunity to enjoy those moments without pain standing in the way.
Dr. Dongyup Lee completed his medical degree at Eulji University School of Medicine in South Korea. Then he completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Geisinger Health System in Pennsylvania, followed by a fellowship in Pain Medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
Before pursuing advanced training in the United States, Dr. Lee served as a primary care physician in South Korea. Throughout his career, he has been involved in a variety of clinical experiences across multiple disciplines and healthcare settings.
Jessica Forbes, DNP, FNP-C, was born and raised in Nebraska. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Nebraska Methodist College and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. With a strong commitment to patient care and lifelong learning, she enjoys blending clinical practice with research and evidence-based care to best serve her patients. Her hobbies include reading, learning, research, fishing, and joining in on the many activities her kids enjoy.
Blessing Nwaokolo MSc, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC earned her nursing degree from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Earned a masters in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and my master in nursing degree from the University of Saint Augustine for health sciences and a board-certifies Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. With an intentional dedication to delivering patient-centered care through evidence based practice that respects individual needs, values and preferences while maintaining safety and quality standards. My hobbies are; Traveling, Journaling, Reading, Cooking and spending time with family and friends.
